I have a thinkpad A20p with a 16MB ATI Rage 128 Mobility L chip, running
Linux (Mandrake, but with kernel 2.4.17) and XFree 4.2.0

I have two small problems...

1. If DRI is enabled, then on resuming from suspend or hibernation, the
X server will die... Or lock up...

2. If running without DRI enabled, the suspend/hibernate resume works,
but XVideo windows or SDL from applications that use YUV windows (i.e.
ogle, or vlc DVD players) display nothing but a black window... Before a
suspend (i.e. immediately after restarting X), it all works fine...

I'm making a (Not very scientific) assumption that something isn't being
initialised correctly in the chipset after a suspend/resume that is
initialised correctly when the server actually starts.

Is there some way (Besides restarting X) to init things correctly? Or is
this agenuine bug/ommission in the code?

TIA

Hamish Marson.
