Dear Alan,

firstly, thanks for your work in trident 2d accel. We all appreciate that and
what I read your driver is running very well.

However I have problems getting your binary trident_drv.o running. My old
configuration runs very well (except its slowness) on my Tecra 8200. When I copy
your driver to /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/driver/ I encounter a server crash during
the load process. It seems that the module does not anymore parse the
config-file options since it does not complain about the DISPLAY1400-option,
which I expected it to do. (I also tried without it, of course...)

Please find enclosd 3 files:
- XF86Config
- a X log from the old driver (that is running)
- a X log with the accelerated driver (which crashes at least on my system)

Your help is very appreciated and thank you again for doing that great work.

Best regards
Christian Neubauer
