Hello everybody ! At first : my english is not very good, so I hope you will understand what I mean ;-)
I try to get a Sony GDM 1934 ( fixed frequency ) working with XFree86 4.2 as secondary monitor. I calculated working Modelines for XFree86 3.3.6. When I try to use the same Modeline with XFree86 4.2 it is not working at all. Are there any differences between 4.2 and 3.3.6 in calculating the Modelines ? I used the following: 3.3.6 ( calculated by Sax ) Modeline "1280x1024" 133.12 1280 1288 1544 1712 1024 1024 1036 1054 4.2 ( calculated by Sax2 ) Modeline "1280x1024" 133.12 1280 1296 1552 1752 1024 1024 1036 1246 this one is nearly working ! But the screen moves slowly down the Monitor ( I would say 1,5 times a minute ) It would be very kind of you if you clould help bacause the Monitor is still working very well. Thank you very much.
