You're probably out of luck on this one.
The glidepoint and all touchy surfaces like it (dell laptops) actually sends 
left button down/up when tapped. This is in the firmware, and not the driver.

Now, changing the firmware is probably not an option either, as it is probably
mask-rommed in the chip.
