Hi, I'm using XFree86 4.2 with a mach64 card and the "ati" driver. It makes my monitor flash like every 5-20 seconds. It's pretty hard to explain but it's almost like when you press the degauss button on the monitor, but a lot faster.
I've tried this using two different ati cards, one LT and the other one I think is called GX or something, same results with both, unless I use the "vesa" driver which works without any problem. I've also tried with with an nvidia geforce 2 and that works perfectly so I do not think theres anything wrong with my setup. If anyone could please give me any clues I would be very thankful.
