Let me know what specific brand of card you have, and I'll
try to find one around here. Also, if you know the bios
version can you send that too? (it's the first thing to get
printed out when the machine boots, but some monitors won't
sync quickly enough to let you see it).

All I can say is that all the NV17s I've gotten my hands on (about 4)
work with the "nv" driver. It's not out of the question for a
different board layout or bios that I haven't tested to be non-functional
with that driver though.

Only the "nvidia" driver. The "nv" driver doesn't use AGP.
