Hello.

I have a Philips Brilliance monitor model 107P20. It
has a feature called light frame that allows increased
sharpness and brightness of specific areas (windows)
on the screen, making it possible to view photos or
videos on your monitor with TV-like quality.

In Windows, to use LightFrame, click on the icon in
the system tray and click on the window which should
be highlighted. You can click anywhere in the picture
that should be highlighted. LightFrame will boost
brightness and sharpness for the selected window.
This will make the display of photos or videos more
lively, as you are used to on a TV.

I would like to know whether this feature is or would
be available also in Linux. If not, what is needed to
get implemented in Linux?

Any comments?
