Disabling it gets me one step further. The X server does no longer
complain at startup. It switches to a black screen and then just hangs
(no mouse visible). <ctrl> - <alt> - <bs> doesn't work; I have to reboot
the machine with <ctrl> - <alt> - <del>.
Except for setting ProgramFPRegs to False, I'm using the stock
XF86Config that XFree86 -configure generated.
What can I do to find out what is going on?
