The card sure does, the point is if the driver does. Recent r128 driver does this but you need working DRI. More precisely when calling XvShmPutImage and XvPutImage, r128 driver will try to make use of DMA if available and working.
RageXL is mach64 AFAIK and DRI for it is under development, DMA being HEAVY in
development. When it's working, I'm sure someone will adapt the r128 code for
mach64.
