The I830M requires you to set the BIOS stolen memory to get all the 
modes.  The BIOS only lets you set the modes it has enough memory to 
display.  Go into the system BIOS and looks for an option like UMA, and 
make sure its set to its highest setting (probably 8MB).  This should 
allow you to set alot more modes.
