HI!

 I've made a program, xnee,  that records the X protocol. It can also
replay it. However the program does not "replay"/regenerate the
"monitor" like a VCR does. It replays your device events (mouse ,
keyboard) and hopefully you get the same result.

 The program is licensed under GPL and has just recently moved its code
(CVS and tar.gz) to Sourceforge.
