Hi keith, We came across one of your mail thread where we find there is some flaws in X when it comes to pseudocolor manipulation.

We are using Xfbdev in our arm target.when we use xfree86-4.0.2, it comes in grey.But when we use Xfree86-4.2.0, the picture comes as little distorted as in fig-2 in your following link http://keithp.com/~keithp/rob/.
