hi..
i've been struggling with this more than 2 weeks now..

my laptop(vaio fx170) 's fn - f7 key is not hard-wired..
so i 'm having trouble with changing resolution for external monitor and
laptop monitor..

eventually i'd like to use higher resolution on external monitor than one on
internal monitor
( it doesn't have to be simultaneously)

i've seen xfree86 options
option "display" "crt"
option "extdisp"
for getting display only on external monitor..
but it didn't work for my graphic card (i815)

any suggestions?
