Hey, first of all, is this the correct mailing-list for help on
modifying
the xkb symbols files?

I am trying to add the faeroese language to X (it's almost similar to
that
of dk, so I just did a cp of of /etc/X11/xkb/symbols/dk > fo and nano'ed
it.

I've figured out how to change the normal characters (they just have an
extra eth on the keyboard), however, they also use <AE12> as a modifier
(it
is used to produce cutes, e.g. hitting AE12 then a would produce an
aacute
() and combining it with shift for a large one: ). Does anyone know
how to
write up extra modifiers (tried but failed) or at least where I can find
any
documentation relating to this?

Also, if and when I'm done, who do I send the symbols file to (if u want
it
in X that is) ?

             dP
