Some drivers can't deal with cards if they are not the primary card.
The S3 driver may be one of those. Your motherboard bios probably has
a setting that allows the PCI to boot as the primary card rather than
the AGP card. Try that. The nv and nvidia drivers should work fine
as the secondary card so you'll want to see if the s3 driver will work
once you've made the S3 card primary.

Ave listmembers. I've got a s3 trio and a nvidia TNT ultra with the same results as described above. In my case,the s3 card is the primary card. Switching wich card is primary didn\t matter/help. If you want some detailed logfiles,please ask. Greetz Mu
