Hello!
I have a problem with an ATI Mobility M3 card. I am working with XFree86
4.2.0 on a DELL C600 laptop.
The problem is that when switching from X to Console and back to X the
system locks
up. My XF86Config-4 file looks like
Section "Device"
# no known options
Identifier "ATI Rage 128 Mobility"
Driver "r128"
VendorName "ATI Rage 128 Mobility"
BoardName "ATI Rage 128 Mobility"
#BusID
EndSection
This problem is "corrected" if I insert the line
VideoRam 4096
but it takes some times to restore the X session when I switch from
Console to X.
Any tips, or sugegstions?
