I'm mildly annoyed by the behavior of X's screen blanking. The screen blanks and turns off after a period of inactivity as it should. No problem with this part.
Now, my mouse seems to generate these tiniest of movement events when left alone. Maybe vibrations get to it or something. No events when I turn my mouse over. A mouse event disables the screen saver and the monitor turns itself on with a bang. Result: my monitor cycling on and off every hour or so. Not good. I'd like to see an option added for XF86Config that would lower the threshold for disabling screen saver from mouse move events. Move this much in this much time or some such. Or disable waking from mouse altogether.
