I'll update GATOS CVS once XFree86 is closer to the next
release. (I.e. once I see them freeze their CVS).
As for inclusion of GATOS code into main XFree86 tree, there are two
parts: XvImage support - which, at least for Radeons, is already there,
and XvPutVideo support (i.e. tuner and friends), which the ati driver
maintainer wants to rewrite a bit (and make it more clean along the way),
but I have seen that code yet.
