I'm no professional at all, but in the Xlib programming manual on the net I found that the Protocol Request GetImage (Xlib function XGetImage) does:
"This function specifically supports rudimentary screen dumps." If you want more info, you should perhaps take a look at this page: http://the-labs.com/X11/XLib-Manual/graphics/XGetImage.html (the x11perf manpage tells that it performs a GetImage with 500x500 square upon the -getimage500 parameter) Regards, Mikael ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf > Of Louis Chen > Sent: den 14 augusti 2002 12:09 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [Xpert]x11perf -getimage500 fail... > > > My command is "x11perf -getimage500" , and under the resolution "640x480" > But in other resolution like "800x600" or "1024x768", it will be fine. > > Can anyone tell me what this option does ? > _______________________________________________ > Xpert mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xpert _______________________________________________ Xpert mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xpert
