I have some questions though. 1)Isnt the version of xf86 you asked me to use old? Sice RHL 7.1 must be using a later verison, wont it have better support for mediagx with fb? 2)Using frame buffer, i tried making a symlink to the FBDev file and edited the xf86config, and even put the line vga=AAA (where aaa is the number corresponding to the resolution of monitor) in lilo.conf. However, no when i run x, i get an error saying no screens specified for the fb driver. why does this happen?
3)Geodefb will work with mediagx? someone had that problem (posted on the xf86 archives..) but i dont know if it got fixed.
