I tried to use a s3 trio with a riva tnt2 ultra in a multi-head configuration with XFree86 CVS code of today (28 aug) ,and unfortunately it doesn't work. Searching the xpert list I saw that this is a known problem. In the thread at www.xfree86.org/pipermail/xpert/2002-July/018976.html Egbert Eich mentions a patch for the s3 driver so that it will do resource registration right. My question is: Is that patch already in CVS? If so,it doesn't work for the combo s3 trio primary,riva tnt-ultra secondary. If not,is that patch still floating around somewhere?
