I've had a similar problem with my Radeon 7500 - for some reason the XFree driver for it does a divide by zero if I give it my monitor's real scan rates, so I have to run a lower scan rate. I conjecture that the scan rate is right on the edge of where the monitor will change its internal settings, so once in a while the scan rate glitches over, and the monitor resyncs. I'm not sure it is a purely Netscape issue, I think it just happens when "lots of stuff" gets drawn to the card. Have you tried changing what rez you are running with ALT-CTRL-KP- to see if the problem goes away at a different scan rate? _______________________________________________ Xpert mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xpert
