I am running a Diamond Viper II Z200 which is based on the Savage 2000 chipset. It works fine to start X normally, but if I use a piece of software to view Multimedia, ie: xine, it scrambles the video. I know that it has something to do with the Card, cuz I have tried a 3dfx Voodoo3 and it works fine. So my question is, is there any kind of a known problem that I am missing in my search with this particular card and the Savage X driver? I have tried adjusting my AGP settings but to no avail. I am suspecting it to be software related. Am I missing something that I should be tweaking to get this working? Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is going to be a Multimedia system. (I know the card stinks for a Multimedia system, but I don't have the funds to get a better one just yet).
