Hi,

I picked up a web pad (a ProGear) that had Xfree86 3.3.6
on it. They had a roll-your-own touchscreen solution that
was partially based around the MuTouch drivers. The
MuTouch drivers are actually functional, but can't be
calibrated correctly - there's always some misalignment
near the edges. So I'm hoping to recompile their
roll-your-own module solution into 4.2.0. Can anyone
offer suggestions? In particular, I don't know much about
how modules work in XFree86... a pointer to a conversion
FAQ or something along those lines would be great.

The module lived in the xfree86/common directory, along
with the 3.3.6 version of drivers that I'm now seeing
broken into their own directories in 4.2.0. I've posted
the module itself at
http://orn.madison-expat.net/pipeinput if anyone would
care to look at it.

Thank you!
