I've been playing with Linux from Scratch for a while now. I've got a Dell
with an on-board s3Trio64+ card and I've also been using a PCI GVX1 card, as
I'm testing some DRI patches.
I've never been able to get the two cards to play nicely together :-(
I've tried the vga, vesa and s3 drivers all without luck. The s3 driver seems
to get the closest, as it loads up but it fails to find any memory? both vga
and vesa don't even get this far before unloading.
It's not a big problem, but I did want to play with a dual-head since I do
have the on-board chip there anyway.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
John Gay
