Not that I'm an expert, but I've worked with a few of the 3DLabs cards in a 
test environment. For 3D support, you will most likely need to look to xig 
for the moment. I have some GVX1 cards here and although there has been some 
work on DRI support on the gamma chips, it is very early days. for 129 
American dollars though, you can get full 3D acceleration and stereo support 
from xig.
