Sending redundant messages to the list is not the best way to get your
questions answered.

Your question also was not terribly germane to the charter of the
"Xpert" list.

You can learn about display hardware support for the currently released
version of XFree86 at the following URL:

http://www.xfree86.org/current/Status.html

The future is difficult to predict. Individual driver authors are
typically not the XFree86 release engineer, so it's tough to establish
timelines for future support.

As I understand it, Ani Joshi is the author of the "s3" driver, having
ported forward the Trio32/64 support code from the old XF86_S3 server.

If your card is not supported by the current release of XFree86, you
might wish to offer to loan your card out to a driver author who may be
willing to implement support for it. It is extremely tedious and
difficult to develop drivers for hardware that one doesn't have
physical access to.

Should you elect to make such an offer, this list *would* be the correct
forum, to the best of my knowledge.
