Hi, first I must say , sorry for bad english. Ok. I am a student of IT in Germany and I have got a question.
XFree86 is teh Xserver of Linux and when it is startet it is being binded on port 6000. When I want to have the display of a remote computer to my computer I write "export DISPLAY=name:0.0" and all packages come through port 6000 in my computer. Now I am looking for the sourcecode where it is implemented that XFree waits on port 6000 to get all packages of the Xprotocol to dispaly e.g. xterm I have startet on the remote computer So I mean in which file(s) it is standing ?
