I have installed Mandrake 8.2 on two different computers with these two display adapters with the same result. Everything appears to be working okay, the display is just blanked. I can login (blind of course) and do work, I just can't see what I'm doing. Interchanging the adapters between the two boxes does not help (one is AGP and one is PCI).
Mandrake 8.1 (XFree86 4.1) works great on both of these boxes. I tried Mandrake 9.0beta3 with the same result, no display. -- Peter F.
