Hello,
I have a Dell with the i845G chipset and a OEM dell Radeon VE AGP card.
Display is a Dell 2000FP (20" Flatplanel with 1600x1200 connected via DVI).
Base installation is Redhat 7.3 with XFree86-4.2.0.
Problem is that that I can start X only once. All works perfect, but
if I have to quit X and want restart again it fails. When I lower the
resolution to 1280x1024 then It will start again, but thats bad on the TFT.
I updated via the "Xinstall.sh"-binaries to 4.2.1 but here I have
exactly the same problem.
Here a snip of the Logfile when the problem occurs. (2nd start of Xserver).
