Hi,
My RH7.3, P3-866, ATI A-I-W 128 system locks up shortly after starting a
video via mplayer - it appears to be an issue with XF86config-4 and the
selection of DRI:

I can successfully run mplayer without DRI but glxgears reports ~150 FPS
without it and ~670 with it. And VMware needs it!
I've take a photo of it if you need to see what's going on.
Do I need ati.2 ? Got a binary?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
PS
ie. "mplayer -vo gl tmrb.mpg" works, but is not the solution I'm looking for
- I think.
