Under the Linux console sticky keys are supported. And, as I'm sure
all of you know, sticky keys are also supported under X.

But, it turns out that with xkbdisable turned on, X doesn't recognize
the sticky keys under Linux...instead shift/ctrl/alt do nothing.

Is this something that can be worked around without the xkb extension.
I really don't want to have two keyboard maps that I have to maintain.
(I remap pretty much every key on my keyboard...and no, not to Dvorak,
but to Maltron...)

It seems like the right thing here is that with xkbdisable turned on,
X should just use my keyboard from Linux...including the sticky key
mappings.

(For background info on turning on sticky keys with the linux
console...see
http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Keyboard-and-Console-HOWTO-15.html ).

Thanks,
Sam
