Title: RE: [Xpert]How is modeline chosen?

You can toggle trough multiple modes with
same resolution by naming them differently.
Those "..." labels are (freeform?) strings.
This means you can e.g. have a "640x480i"
and a "640x480p" timing, where the appended
characters might mean for your individual setup
"interlaced" and "progressive" mode.

The real desktop resolution is encoded in the numeric data.
