Ani:
While googling for help I came across the following exchange. I have had
exactly the same problem with RedHat 7.3 and 8.0. I know that my card is
not supported by XFree86-4.2.x. You mentioned sending a driver to the
originator of the query. I was wondering whether you could send the driver
to me (if you did in fact hack one together) or at least recommend a not
very fancy card which I could buy that definitely would work with XF86
4.2?
Thanks,
Steve Gregory.

The "s3" driver does not yet support your card, the Trio64 V2 (DX or GX).
However, I can hack up some support and send you a test driver to try
sometime this week.
