That's exactly what I ask for in the "RandR Support on XFree86 4.3" thread.
I think we need more often a resync.
Maybe in an extra branch? Some like xfree-cvs-sysnc-branch?

That's the "problem" with all the "new" subsystems (DRI, Gatos).
