[Xpert]cirrus on powerpc

Hi,

I have a cirrus gd5446 with 1 mb memory installed in a Motorola Powerstack 4400 (PCI PPC) running linux (kernel 2.4.17pre1, suse 7.3). I think the cirrus driver is not endian save, because it crashes my system hard. I can't even get the framebuffer driver to work. Only thing which is working is XFree86 3.3.6 with framebuffer.

Is this a known problem, and if yes, is there a way I can help porting it?
