I am a newborn user of a Radeon 9000 card (shit I wanted to buy some other card...). As far as I know some people got it to work with the "ChipId" option, but this didn't work for me. So my question is: how far is the next release away? I know "it's done when it's done" but are we talking about 1 month or half a year? I am not really looking forward to compiling XFree from CVS, because I have not much experience with CVS so far.
