Yes, it comes up over and over, the bottom line is that it's not as easy
as those people think it is.

The radeon driver had limited 2D acceleration with DRI enabled up to 4.2.0.
This has been remedied in CVS, it now offers even faster 2D acceleration
on top of the 3D acceleration.
