Luca .. Alan and I are testing various drivers at the moment.

The driver at the above URL should be 1.0.30 ;-)

Actually is 1.0.31 but the page claims is 1.0.27.
Anyway it isn't working with xvideo. Videos are "scrambled" (by scrambled I mean they're shifted to the right, with the third third of the image first, but some lines are in a different pattern, a funny effect).

320x240 Planar YV12 plays correctly.
640x344 Planar YV12 is scrambled
608x302 Planar YV12 is scrambled
720x400 Planar YV12 is scrambled

It's in there .. grep for trident

My bad, that's what I did and it's the reason why I didn't find it: the version is in a different line ;-)
Now I know that the last known working version for me is 1.0.0 both with the LCD and the TV out. Getting Xvideo from the TV Out is a pain with this laptop (I have to reboot since under Linux it's not possible to switch the ouyput and then I have to use a different Xfree configuration with tweaked XvHSync an XvVsync) but it'is doable.

Bye
