it is great to come accross some thai lady using
linux.  i don't know if you got your problem solved. 
i know that the log file is usually in the
/usr/x11/../.. folder, the same folder where  xConfig
is.  and i think usually the problem like yours is
from the driver mismatch.  you should find out what
the video card is exactly.
