maybe you do want to try inverting syncs...
but it might damage some of your hardware.
i dont take any response for doing so.

on the other hand it might be a problem
with the selected pixel clock.

if you do have a medium fast oscilloscope
then do try measuring the real timings
for the working configuration and then
watch what your other adapters do provide.
