After a few days of trying everything I can think of, I can't get XF86 to run my IBM T210 flat panel at it's full 2048x1536 resolution. The best I can accomplish is getting it to run at 1600x1200 at 85 Hz. That would be OK except that the monitor is interpolating pixels and in places the text looks pretty ratty. I have a Matrox G450 with 32 megs, and the Matrox people say the card fully supports 2048x1536 at 24 bits deep. As near as I can tell XF86 says there's no 2048x1536 mode, which I assume is because there's something in the probe of the monitor for that mode it doesn't like. Attached is the server log. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
