Hi all,

We would like to change the way we can switch a keyboard layout between
Czech and English. The standard way currently implemented allows to switch
using Scroll Lock or with a strange combination of Left Alt + Right Shift.
As this project is targeted to lots of non-computer-science students,
regular computer users (not familiar with X Window manners), we'd need to
change the way of switching to a common keyboard combination Alt + Shift
(not distinguishing between Left and Right).
We have tried to switch Left and Right Shift using xmodemap, but it
didn't help. We've also tried a script using a command setxkbmap hooked on
key shortcut in IceWM, but it didn't help either: the script was invoked
only when we allowed option "XkbDisable", but then the keyboard couldn't
be switched.

We swear we had researched the Web before asking this surprisingly
obvious question...

We are using XFree4.1 from Debian 3.0. Details of the current config
are below.

Thank you very much in advance for your generous help!
