Hello, some days ago I posted this article on the LJ site:
http://www.linuxjournal.com/article.php?sid=6476 Preparing a follow up for that article, covering what else should be done (apart from KDE/Gnome/OOo/Mozilla) to have faster and more integrated U*nix desktops regardless of the mix of applications chosen. I have received some feedback (see my post of today on that forum titled "Feedback from KDE developers". Their comments are there: http://lists.kde.org/?t=103972033100006&r=1&w=2 predictably, they also suggest some work about X. I'd like to know your opinion too, both on those comments, and, in general, on the subject I'm trying to write about. Any feedback is welcome!
