I tried to install xplor-nih (xplor-nih-2.26-Darwin8_x86.tar.gz) and xlor-nih-database (xplor-nih-2.26.tar.gz), however when I downloaded and unzipped both they both contained folders with the same name "xplor-nih-2.26"! It was not clear what to do next even after thorough consultation with computer tech support in our university and it seems that the same file package was by mistake zipped and uploaded as these two packages (xplor-nih-2.26-Darwin8_x86.tar.gz and xplor-nih-2.26.tar.gz).
A) Please tell me if there is any error in uploading correct files under correct name on xplor releases page. I was following directions http://nmr.cit.nih.gov/xplor-nih/INSTALL.txt after I downloaded both Xplor mac specific version and Xplor database (compatible with any platform) I was not able to install since it seemed that there was the same file package but compressed with different names "xplor-nih-2.26-Darwin8_x86.tar.gz" and "xplor-nih-2.26.tar.gz". I still tried to proceed with directions posted http://nmr.cit.nih.gov/xplor-nih/INSTALL.txt, but got the following errors: 1.After unpacking both packages I was not able to generate xplor command, ./configure didn't give any error messages but seemed to do nothing as well. 2. running testDisp.inp file also gave lots of errors and was not able to open any folder and /or run any command it is supposed to run B) If there is no error in uploading the files on Xplor release webpage, please could you send more detailed instructions than the instructions posted on http://nmr.cit.nih.gov/xplor-nih/INSTALL.txt Thank you! -- Best regards, Anna Kuznetsova University of Florida -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
