Hello, I'm trying to install xplor-nih v. 2.23 on a brand-new iMac with snow leopard installed. The program appears to have installed fine. When I run it, it begin running fine (brings in all data files, doesn't show any errors, etc.), but before it starts the structure calculations it unexpectedly ends with this error:
xplor(5287) malloc: mmap (size=754978816) failed (error code=12) error: can't allocate region set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug Clearly memory should not be an issue with a new computer ( 3.06 GHz processor and 4GB of memory). Does anyone have any tricks for fixing this issue? Thanks, Nate
