When I use the proprietary SonicWall Java RDP applet on Linux to connect to xrdp I'm seeing occasional corruption. Specifically, I'm seeing stair stepping within a semi-predictable rectangle. At 24 bpp, each line going down is being shifted two pixels to the right. At 16 bpp, I'm seeing stair stepping and also color shifting. (Red becomes blue, etc.)
I've tried changing bit depth, disabling compression, and flipping various other switches. So far nothing has worked. I suspect this is a problem with SonicWall's applet, but I'd like to be certain. Any ideas how I could determine if the problem with with xrdp or the applet? If the applet is tickling a bug in xrdp, any tips for how to most quickly track it down? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Apps built with the Adobe(R) Flex(R) framework and Flex Builder(TM) are powering Web 2.0 with engaging, cross-platform capabilities.
