This only works if you have a pulse audio client running on the client right?
What about if the client is a windows client? What if there's a horrible firewall in between the server and client? In theory you should launch one (fake) audio server per session (could be a pulse-audio compatible server), and then redirect the data down the terminal session tunnel to be output on the client as it sees fit. (This will fix the resume bug too).
