Thanks for the tip.

However when I changed the script to match your entries.  I still get a KDE
menu and desktop when I use RDP from windows.  Just to see I open a terminal
window and typed in "gnome-session", it states that I am already running a
gnome session.  I even tried switchdesk, but no go.  Just so you know I
tried this with root.

Any ideas?
