Just a follow up, I forgot to say thank you to Nicola and Rich for responding,

I've only experienced the problem of rdesktop sticking on close of session and
xrdp process starting to run at 100% cpu. But this problem does not occur
often, and only on close of session. From what I understand, X11rdp allows for
clipboard and will soon have audio and drive mapping. If these things are
independent of X11rdp I will just use Xvnc, but I'll take a little instability
for clipboard, and soon audio support. If someone knows a fix for the wine +
X11rdp = missing text cursor, then I will thank you for any help. maybe a patch
and recompile, or maybe the latest development version has already fixed it.

Please do not use X11rdp, is still somehow buggy. When used in
production environments it often make crash xrdp process (null
pointers exceptions, etc.).
Use instead Xvnc, slower but even more stable.
